Das Update ist wie immer für beide Versionen - die kostenlose ebenso wie die Studio - von DaVinci Resolve frei runterladbar. Coloristen dürfen sich freuen über die verbesserte Performance bei der Spatial Noise-Reduction im "Better"-Modus und verschiedene Tweaks, die die alltägliche Arbeit vereinfachen sollen.ĭes weiteren werden neue Formate wie H.265 (unter Linux), Alpha Kanal DNxHR 444 und der neue 16-bit Sony X-OCN-Codec unterstützt.
Im Editingbereich neu ist die Möglichkeit, Clips nach Flags, Markern oder Farben auszuwählen, per EDL Duration Marker zu im- oder exportieren und Clips an ihren Markern bei der Auswahl von In oder Out Punkten einrasten zu lassen. Unter Windows können allerdings nicht ohne QuickTime ProRes. mov ProRes Files jetzt nativ (ohne eine Installation von QuickTime) zu dekodieren - Blackmagic reagiert damit auf die QuickTime Sicherheitslücke unter Windows - außerdem soll die En- und Decoding-Performance von ProRes unter Windows bei der Wiedergabe und bei der Arbeit mit Multicamaufnahmen verbessert worden sein. An erster Stelle zu nennen ist die neue Möglichkeit, unter Windows.
